In Franchise Mode, Create a player (or 3, or 20) and set all of his attributes low so that his overall rating is 12. Sign him as a free agent for cheap then return to Create-A-Player and max out his stats. You can now trade this player to any team for the very best players in the NFL.
Madden NFL 2004 Hint: Free Advertising
At the beginning of each week, check a game later than yours time-wise (Monday night being the best choice so after you play your game, the week doesn't end). Before playing your game, go to Owner's Box and max out money on all advertising. Play your game and you'll receive the attendence for the max advertising. When your game is over, go back to Owner's Box and drop all advertising to $0. Go back to Play Week, uncheck the checked game and simulate the rest of the week. When you go back to Owner's Box and check your balance sheet, the amount of overall spending for attendance will stay the same, but you'll recieve the attendance boost.

In fantasy mode, first you must disable the trade deadline. Then after playing 16 games, you will be in the last week of the season. Now simply take a look at the standings and trade your draft picks straight across for theirs.

Usually you can't challege a play after the two minute warning. But after the questionable call, pick any play and then when you're walking up to the line of scrimmage, press and hold SQUARE. If you're lucky, it'll work, but only on plays that are normally challengeable.

Pick a team and a playbook with the formation I form Twins (for example, the Eagles' playbook). Hot route your Tight End on a streak by hitting TRIANGLE, X, UP on the D-pad, and hot route your slot reciever on and up and in towards the middle of the field. Put the reciever that you just hot routed into motion and hike the ball when he is right behind your tight end. You can complete 95% of your passes with this.
