Turkey Hunter Hunting Tips
There are a few things you should know in order to maximize youreffectiveness when hunting turkeys.Turkeys are extremely sensitive to sudden movements. If you move tooquickly while a turkey is in view, there's a good chance you'll spook him.Keep all movements to a minimum, and if you do have to move, move very slowly. Use your turkey calls together, but do not overuse them. In order to foolturkeys, you must make a variety of sounds. This means using both yourcalls in combination. However, using the calls more than several times inquick succession may sound unnatural to the toms and cause them to becomewary. Pique their interest with several calls in a row, then back off fora minute.
Be patient, but take a shot when you think you have a good chance ofgetting a hit. The turkeys are more likely to spot you the closer theyget, so don't wait too long.
